You may have noticed I’ve given you a break from my usual rantings recently 🤣
I’ve had a much needed break from social media, it can be pretty draining! This has freed me up to concentrate on my children & reassess the direction I want my blog to go in.
The girls are at a crucial time in education with GCSE’s & A’Level exams & my son has continued to be hit & miss with sleeping & school 😫 Roll on Summer holidays! ☀️
Til then, one foot in front of the other & lots of #coffee ! 💙☕️💙
We love getting feedback like this, glad you enjoy our products @missjadew 💙

Working in an office, it can have an immense strain on my neck and shoulders leaving me in pain all day, especially when I want to exercise and it can become a struggle.
@pernatonuk has two types of gels with either a cooling or heating sensation along with a roll-on. It supplies the body with essential nutrients that give vital support, among other things, to joint function and muscles.
It is manageable and allows me to exercise for longer!
If there was something about the royal wedding that we Indians were looking forward to then it was Priyanka Chopra's appearance.
After all she was the ONLY Indian amongst the pool of 2,640 people, to be invited for what's being touted as the 'Wedding of the year.' And, did she make us proud? Oh Yes, very much! She mingled amongst the royals as sugar does in milk. Desi girl Priyanka Chopra
For the big day, PeeCee donned a beautiful lavender Vivienne Westwood skirt suit with a drapedetail on the neck. She paired it with a custom-made hat by legendary Philip
Priyanka Chopra looked no less than a royal herself at the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
The Quantico star was photographed in a custom Vivienne Westwood lilac skirt and blazer, paired with a elegant hat and a floral fascinator. Her make-up artist Pati Dubroff matched her dress with her berry eye-shadow and blush pink lip-colour.
Love the natural look I get from this k-pop cream bubble blush. Has anyone else tried them ? They’re new to @primark. Head over to the link in my pro for the full review ! #blusher#beauty#bbloggers#review
I want to travel so bad. Discovering the world is just one of the best things ever. The only thing stopping me from going places is my bank account. And my internship. Sigh
How cool does the Brighton Pier looks on this pic though? Oh hello nostalgia!
The all important Budapest prep step... fake tanning! I’ve been using this brand for a year or so now and I still really love it. Develops quickly without streaks 👌🏼 I woke up today with such a nice natural glow🌟 I also used my new sparkly @velvotan mitt and when I need to scrub it all off, I’ll be reaching for my @bondisands Eraser 👌🏼
What tan brand do you swear by? #FakeTanning
MUSINGS OF A READER:
There are good books, not-so-good books( I don’t like using the word bad for a book) and the one’s which take time to imprint themselves on your mind. The processing of thoughts takes a longer time than usual.
I am still gathering my thoughts for this book which was my last read. A Room of one’s own talks about women, how it is important for her to be a little financially independent and how in history there were no works of poetry by women because they couldn’t leverage a good library or their freedom. Strong words and incidents quoting Jane Austen and Bronte sisters kept me interested. But, I found my hold on the book shifting frequently, may be because of the writing. I was aware and careless both while reading the book.
This is not a review of the book but my first thoughts on reading my first Virginia Woolf. No way am I giving up on her. Mrs Dalloway by the author is still in pipeline. While, writing a proper review about A Room of one’s own may still take some time.
What are you reading currently? Are you liking it?
Indulging my sense of adventure is a big part of what makes me happy - and it's only recently that I've come to appreciate this 🌍⠀
I listened to an interview with @alexandrashulman last week, who said that times when she's felt trapped have been the times when she's felt unhappiest. And I really relate to that 🙏🏼⠀
A little bit of adventure, as often as I can - that's what I'm aspiring to, to keep my soul feeling nourished ✨⠀

I stopped caring about the amount of likes, comments, views & IT'S BEEN THE BEST THING EVER. 🚨 Heres why: I used to spend HOURSSS maximizing photos, engaging with others, sharing my posts, just hoping to get more likes & comments & views. But I changed my strategy & changed my LIFE. .
I stopped giving a shit about NUMBERS & started focusing on IMPACT. How many people saved the photo to reference later because they found value in what I said? How many clients booked a blogging + social media coaching session this month? How many brand deals came to my inbox? How many people DM’d me to say I helped them?
I started focusing on posting things I LIKE rather than things I wanted to GET LIKED. Does that make sense? I posted my Tajin with watermelon. I posted my coffee shop office of the day. I posted about getting out of my comfort zone & learning to love my cellulite. .
Of course it's reassuring to get 390 likes & 40 comments like I did a few months ago, but hey, it also made me revolutionize my social media strategy to my benefit (& the benefit of my clients, quite frankly :]).
So, cheers to you. You might not like, or comment, but you definitely make a positive impact. Thank you. ♥️
Tomorrow I am going to start the first “what’s that?! Wednesday”. Every Wednesday I am going to share a new term you hear in the world of neurology and special needs. I will share facts, definitions, and even some stories or examples to make the term come to life. My hope is that our community can become even more well informed around these subjects. Can anyone guess what the first word is going to be ?! (Hint: the word is written in my bio)
This was by far my favorite calanque. Not difficult to get to and I thought it had the best view. The water was so vibrant, the shoreline was filed with trees, and the way the sun was hitting the water it sparkles like a chandelier. I could sit here and soak in the beauty all day.
