I did yoga with @yolo_lotus today. Restorative practice was what I needed because all i was thinking about is 'what is my cat doing? Is he ok by himself?' I felt weird guilt for leaving him all alone. Thinking he was probably bored with nobody home, I came home and he wasn't that interested in me. Lol
Isn't that funny? How the human nature is to attach and grip but the energy of life is always to loosen, be transformative?

Be inspired by my main gal, Maow 😽😻😸. Initially, this basket looked way too small to climb into. Maow, bless her three white socks, got stuck, squished face first into the bottom of the basket with her furry butt in the air and meowed in discomfort 😹. But a little wriggle and a whole lot of flexibility saw this kitty master her basket mission😼!! Perseverance is key. From where I was standing, her mission seemed ridiculous and impossible but she ignored me, as she always does, and dominated the way-too-small basket like a champ💥! Moral: ignore the nay-sayers and disbelievers and go claim the victory awaiting you in your pandora’s basket 😹😸!! #jelightlife#lightlife
Easy Ginger Garlic Noodles 🥢
Today was one of those days where I laid in bed till I had about 20 minutes to get to work, and was ready for a nap by the time I got to my lunch break. My mind has been all over the place lately and I’m finding myself extremely drained and stressed out as a result. The only thing I could think about was getting into the kitchen and making something delicious so that I could focus on something other than life for a little while. Boy did this plate deliver! Coming in right under $15 dollars (I was lucky enough to have more than half of the ingredients in my fridge already) the most demanding part of this recipe was patiently waiting for the noodles to boil. Not to mention there was plenty left over to take to work tomorrow😋 •

GINGER WATERMELON ITALIAN ICE
1 c. water
1 c. granulated sugar
3 oz. ginger root, peeled and cut into thick slices
6 c. chopped seedless watermelon
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Combine water, sugar, and ginger in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring often. Once syrup comes to a boil, reduce heat to low; simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. The longer you allow the mixture to cool, the more ginger-y the Italian ice will be. Discard ginger or use it to make candied ginger.
Puree syrup, watermelon, and lemon juice in blender or food processor. Refrigerate watermelon mixture for about an hour (you can leave it right in the blender jar or food processor bowl).
Pour watermelon mixture into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions. Transfer to airtight container and freeze for about 2 hours before serving.
