The May long-weekend is over and I am back on the road. Huge thanks to the wonderful people who made this weekend unforgettable. I ran randomly into the most welcoming people who invited me to join them and celebrate Victoria Day in Canadian style.
Meeting new people, making new friends, learning new things and collecting memories. That is, what travelling is all about.
I spent there days in a wood cabin on a lake which is only accessible by boat or ATV. We went fishing, ate fresh walleye, deep-fried alligator, relaxed at a fire, cruised around in ATVs, got sunburned, drunk too much, slept too less and split one's sides laughing.
This was indeed a true Canadian experience and memorable weekend.
