What means BODYPOSITIVITY?
I am working around this topic for a while and looked especially on Instagram and Facebook-Groups.
Unfortunately for many people bodypositivity is all about showing pictures in underwear on Instagram and posting selfies, sometimes with a suggestive gesture! They hunt for likes and compliments online!
Is that bodypositivity?
Is that the support people mean when they describe groups as supportive for every body and bodypositivity? Getting likes and getting compliments for pictures ... Is that increasing their confidence? Do they feel better in their bodies afterwards? Do they learn something about self-love, bodypositivity?
To me bodypositivity is about learning to love your body with all the imperfections, to feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin and to gain self-confidence! Bodypositivity means accepting and respecting your body, taking care on it! So you learn to think, feel and speak positive about your body! And even to be loving on other people, their bodies and appearance!
Hunting for likes and compliments in comments under your posts won‘t let you think or feel more positive about yourself! It‘s something where people can teach you tools and help you! But the main changes happen in your inner!

💥NEW BLOG POST💥
Spending 48 hours in Utrecht is a must in my books.📚
A city with a fresh, young and hip vibe, but with a heavy dose of medieval history, it's the perfect city to fall in love with.😍
Head to the blog to see how I spent 48 hours in Utrecht that also includes a day trip to the most quintessentially Dutch town ever!! HINT: It's a town named after cheese!😄🧀😋
Chelsea Flower Show heaven!!! Going through and editing photos for the blog while Ryan creates a fun video for our freshly created YouTube channel (search Attention to Darling). This exhibit was my favorite with the facade of the house and the beautifully unkept garden full of roses and foxgloves. 🌸
The Maya city of Copán was founded in the fifth century in a region that today belongs to Honduras. Copán is close to the easternmost edge of the empire and was one of the most important cities at its time. Scientists believe that the city kept growing and expanding so much that eventually, it couldn't sustain itself anymore and the Maya empire collapsed. Fortunately, some of those buildings have been restored so we could go and visit the remains of this majestic and well decorated city.
