Morning Glory was one of our favorite cabins to look at & photograph because of its beautiful texture! It seems it would be the most gorgeous during autumn surrounded by warm leaves. This cabin has a wrap around porch, 2 queen sized sleeping areas, and even vaulted ceilings. For a tiny cabin they really made the most of the space! @bluemoonrisingdcl
Moonshine, the cabin that started it all 💕 probably our absolute favorite as well 🏚
reclaimed wood from an Appalachian barn, a bunk bed loft, eco friendly utilities. The perfect little tiny home! We’re working on our honeymoon cabin video, make sure to subscribe early so you don’t miss out! (Weary Roads on Youtube) @bluemoonrisingdcl
This is Moonshadow, a very special cabin to us. This is the cabin we honeymooned in! 💕 In the morning you can look out the kitchen window to see the most beautiful hiking trail, Fern Gully, filled with oak and hickory trees and of course so many ferns! 🌿 only a few more cabins to share before our honeymoon adventure video! @bluemoonrisingdcl
Luna Bleu has reclaimed barn wood interior, and an old library ladder for the steps up to a queen size bunk bed! There are two other twin sized bunk beds off to the side making the most of its space, perfect for a family vacation. 🌲 @bluemoonrisingdcl
Kaya has one of the coziest porches I’ve ever seen!! It is made of up reclaimed metal and wood. Some of the lighting fixtures inside are also made of reclaimed materials. It overlooks the entire cabin community, surrounded by pines ✨ @bluemoonrisingdcl (also a little hint for the future, there will a video coming of our honeymoon adventures around this little cabin village!! Make sure to subscribe to our youtube to stay posted)
Funkomatik 💥 This little cabin is so quirky and filled with purple accents. It is made from reclaimed barn wood and metal roofing, with a recycled door that inspired the overall design. The second floor bed had a window to overlook the beautiful hiking trail Fern Gully. 🌿 @bluemoonrisingdcl
Evergreen is situated on the perfect spot at the end of Blue Moon Rising’s little neighborhood, right at the beginning of the woodland hiking paths! It seems to be one of the largest cabins there but it might be because of the gorgeous wrap around porch. The bathroom door was repurposed from an old schoolhouse. This magical space is tucked away under the trees. 🌲 @bluemoonrisingdcl
This cabin is named Cairn, after the beautiful nature sculptures formed by piling rocks carefully on top of one another. It has the most stunning light and the magical logo featured in its top window ✨
We want to share each cabin from the magical place Blue Moon Rising that we’ve visited twice now ✨ The first one is Bella Donna! The builders of all these #tinyhome#cabins make every effort to be #ecofriendly with their designs. Most of the cabins’ materials are recycled or repurposed. The bathroom floor of this cabin is made of marmolium, free of toxic chemicals. @bluemoonrisingdcl
Mt. Washington has one of the lowest treelines in the world as far as mountain tops go. This is because of the rapidly changing weather. The baby trees that grow up here are really defying the odds. The weather on this mountain is so wild and unpredictable that a building on top of it is actually chained to the ground. It’s incredible to me how varied mountaintop terrain can be. It just makes me think of driving up Pikes Peak in Colorado, when all the green disappeared and the whole space turned grey and undulating like we were on another planet. There are so many incredible pieces of this planet, we need to help keep it alive.
On top of Mt. Washington there were trees sprinkled with Rime Ice. This is frost formed onto objects that rapidly freezes in the fog. If you zoom in for the detail you can see how the ice looks almost horizontal like it froze in mid air. It made everything look like magic.
Today we saw the the incredible snowy peaks surrounding Mt. Washington in New Hampshire and we also made this super cool linktree thing so you can now find all of our socials in one link. (IN OUR BIO!) It links our brand new Twitter (we’re years behind we know, just never got into it) as well as our ongoing blog and YOUTUBE channel that we will be back to posting regularly now that we’ve decided to go forward under this collab name. Thank you for your ongoing support, we can’t wait for all that we have planned 🌲✨
